Argentario Golf Club holds many golf tournaments that are some of the most important in Tuscany and Italy, has 18 panoramic holes for a total of 6218 meters and a par 71.
The course is certified “Agri Cert”, bio echo compatible and all the product used for its maintenance are totally natural. The golf course is situated in a natural protected area 5 minutes from the Natural Reserve Duna Feniglia and 25 km from the Park of Uccellina.
The Orbetello Lagoon, the sea and the hillsides of Mount Argentario offer a landscape of breathtaking beauty and create a microclimate that allows golf play in every moment of the year. Peppo Canonica e Jamie Harries are only two of the professional teachers that you can find there, the Argentario Golf Club also claims the simulator TrackMan IIIe, a machine of newest generation for the analysis of the swing.
The 18 hole course and the practice course, opened in 2006, have been realized by architect David Mezzacane and by professional player Baldovino Dassù, banner of Italian golf in the world. The holes have been modeled by the specialist Brian Jorgensen: the result is a varied, spectacular and technically valid track.
Among the 18 panoramic holes, 2 dominate the sea and the lagoon, one is in the middle of wood and the last one is characterized by the water that comes to the green. The green are all small and a breeze is always present to relieve the temperature and add another challenge to the game that on this field requires accuracy and strength.
